第1回大会アンバサダー岡崎慎司氏より総評コメントをいただきました。
We have received a summary comment from the ambassador of the 1st tournament, Shinji Okazaki.

■アンバサダーコメント
僕自身、こういったU-14の大会アンバサダーとして試合を見る事自体が初めてだったので新鮮でした。
南米パラグアイから来日していた強豪チームCLUB CERROの試合を見られたことは個人的にも良かったんですが、子供たちも彼らと試合ができたこと、試合を見られた事で、沢山の事を感じ取ったんじゃないかと思います。
CLUB CERROと対戦したチームが、次の試合では前の試合よりも強度が上がったのをみると、南米の球際の激しさに選手たちが早くも適応しているように見えました。
タイのTHUNG SONGの選手も決して強豪チームではないものの、チーム一丸となり勝利のために一生懸命サッカーをしている姿は気持ちが良かったです。
大会を通じてこのSHIMANAMI FUTURE CUPは国際大会という事に大きな価値があると感じました。サッカーを通して国際交流ができる機会は本当に貴重で、レセプションパーティーでは子供たち同士で言葉が分からなくても、身振り、手振りでなんとか自分の思っていることを伝えようとする姿を見られて嬉しく思いました。
ただ、レセプションでのチームの出し物に関しては、まだまだ伸び代があると感じました。(笑)
子供たちにも話をしましたが、こういう大会で1人ひとりの選手たちが１つでも多くのインパクトあるプレーを残そうとする事が、僕は大事だと思いながら見ていました。
子供たちはチームの一員だけど、その中でも自己主張できる選手が、これからの時代に必要な要素だと思うので、その点に関しては、もっと選手たちには求めていきたいと思います。
それでも、沢山の選手たちが気持ちのこもったプレーをみせていたので、総じて素晴らしい大会だったと思います。
この度は第1回SHIMANAMI FUTURE CUP大会アンバサダーとして参加させていただき、本当にありがとうございました。

It was the first time for me to watch a match as an ambassador for this kind of U-14 tournament, so it was a new experience for me.

It was good for me personally to be able to watch CLUB CERRO, a strong team from Paraguay in South America, play, and I think the children must have gained a lot from being able to play and watch them play.

When I saw that the team that played against CLUB CERRO was more intense in the next match than in the previous one, it seemed that the players were quickly adapting to the intensity of the South American ball game.

The players of THUNG SONG from Thailand are not a strong team, but it was pleasant to see the whole team working together and playing football hard for victory.

Through the tournament, I felt that the SHIMANAMI FUTURE CUP holds great value as an international event. The opportunity for international exchange through football is incredibly precious, and I was happy to see the children trying to communicate with each other through gestures and body language at the reception party, even if they didn’t share a common language.

However, regarding the team performances at the reception, I felt there is still room for improvement. (laughs)

I also talked to the kids, and I believe it's important for each player to try and leave as many impactful plays as possible in a tournament like this.

While they are part of a team, players who can assert themselves even within that framework are going to be essential in the future, and I would like to see more of that from them.

Still, many of the players showed heartfelt plays, so overall, I believe it was a wonderful tournament. Thank you very much for allowing me to participate as the ambassador for the 1st SHIMANAMI FUTURE CUP.
